If you are like me and totally head Over heels in love with the literally magical world of Harry Potter, then you will cry tears of joy over this product. If you thought magic only existed in fairy tales and fantasy novels, you are mistaken, my friends. Magic exists. You will be amazed how a company has taken a crazy idea and turned it into something really beautiful.
The product I’m going to review today is the Harry Potter photo printer from Lifeprint. If you are even a little familiar with the Harry Potter universe, you should definitely know how the paintings from the Harry Potter books can come to life.
These are not static paintings that we see in our daily lives. These are moving fragments, that is, moving images, just as the first animations worked. This concept came from the brilliant mind of J. K Rowling, the author of Harry Potter.
Lifeprint, the company that works with augmented reality products, has now created a product that will blow your mind. Lifeprint has created a real Harry Potter photo printer that turns your ordinary photos into Harry Potter paintings.
The way it works is pretty simple, actually. After you print your photos with Lifeprint’s handy dandy printer and view the photos from Lifeprint’S AR app, the photos come to life. Now it’s magic. Well, the magic of Augmented reality, actually.
But that’s not even the best part. It has built-in filters that you can apply to your Photos. These are not just any ordinary inexpensive copies of Instagram filters; these are Harry Potter themed filters. Print your photos after you apply the Harry Potter photos and watch the photos move. Isn’t that great? Yeah, I think so.
Robert Macauley, co-founder of Lifeprint, says: “as a big Harry Potter fan, the partnership with Warner Bros.To bring the magic of moving pictures to fans around the world is truly a dream come true. We can’t wait to put them in your hands.”
Just think of the creative potential you have once you have this wonderful creation in your hands. Let’s take a look at the Harry Potter Lifeprint photo printer.
The Lifeprint printer comes in a medium-sized cardboard box tied with a rope. This gives it a very rustic feel. On the front of the box is what looks like a picture of the Hogwarts express train. Below the image it says ” use the Hyperphoto Viewer to scan this photo and see how it comes to life.”
The words “Hogwarts delivery” are written on the cardboard box, with an HP logo in the upper right corner and a Hogwarts crest in the middle, giving us the impression that a mythical owl has just delivered the package. I can already feel the nostalgia.
There is a piece of parchment in it that has all the instructions written down. The instructions will help beginners who are not familiar with Lifeprint.
When you open the app, you’ll be prompted to turn on the printer first. The Lifeprint app is full of little bits of AR magic. The application is full of interesting features.
It feels like users are holding a powerful magic wand in their hands. First, let’s talk about filters. There is a filter that will turn you into our favorite crazy Aurora-Eye Moody. Then there is the scary pass away doer filter to scare all your friends.
In addition, the camera app also has the crazy but awesome colorful Spectrum camera filter, which will hit everyone. There are the different scarves that we will brag about for sure to our friends and rivals. The scarves are colored in the four houses: Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravendor and Slytherin.
Then there are the digital photo stickers on the theme of the wizarding world. Users can” stamp ” their photos with a sprite snitch, majestic Owls, The Dark Mark and many other cool and useful photo stickers.
The best feature should be that the app allows people to connect with other Potterheads remotely, uh, I meant magically;). This means you can print your photos anywhere in the world on your friends’ lifeprint printers. This is possible through the Explore tab of the application.
Now comes the best part: the printer itself. I would like Lifeprint to make every printer with so much detail and finesse. You can buy the printers in two colors, white and gold, and my favorite black with a gold aesthetic.
The printer comes with four medallions, each representing the four houses of Hogwarts. Users can customize their printer by removing one medallion and customizing another to suit their mood.
It would help if you load the printer first before you can actually use it. So you will have to have a little patience, which is difficult when it comes to everything related to Harry Potter. Once loaded, you can use it with the app after connecting your smartphone to the printer via Bluetooth.
The printer does not need ink, so there is no charge in this department. You just need to buy the sticky paper. The paper comes in a 2×3 inch size that can stick to just about any surface you can think of.
Your Harry Potter books, bookcase, bag, shelf, you name it.
The best thing about the printer is how portable it is. The printer is small enough to carry in your pockets or even in your invisibility cloak; if you have it, then it’s great.
You can print wirelessly from your phones via Bluetooth and share the photos directly on Instagram, which is a very interesting feature. You can even print a photo from a GIF or video.
All in all, this makes it a wonderful gift for any Harry Potter maniac, just in time for the holidays. This will seriously be a great collection for any Potterhead, allowing them to capture the everyday magic.
